Submissions

If you would like to submit your book to Philippa Sitters, please send the following material to submissions@philippasitters.co.uk

For fiction:

• A cover letter introducing the book, and yourself as an author. 
• The first thirty pages of the book, double spaced.
• A synopsis of the book, one or two pages long, single spaced, to give an idea of how the novel will unfold.
• The cover letter can be within the submission email, whereas the sample writing and synopsis should be attached as Word documents, or if this isn't possible, a PDF.

For non-fiction:

• A proposal introducing the book, and yourself as an author, plus a detailed chapter outline. Information on your view of the book's potential market, similar titles and marketing possibilities would also be helpful, but aren't essential. 
• Up to three sample chapters from the book, double spaced. 

Since PSA is a small agency and there are never enough hours in the day, it's with regret that we won't be able to respond to each submission. This is something we hope to change in the future. However, if you do not hear back from us within four weeks, please understand that although we were very grateful to have been sent your work, it's not for us on this occasion.
